A little bit about me...

I know who I was when I got up this morning, but I think I must've been changed several times since then.

MeI have been lucky enough to have lived a couple different lives so far. From a waitress in an authentic Mexican restaurant through college, to an assistant gallery manager in Providence. An abstract painter whose work has been featured in multiple New England galleries, and most recently a graduate of the Advertising Design certificate program at RISD. Each of these experiences have culminated into a unique outlook, a dauntless perseverance, and a sharp design sense. Whether I am working on an oil painting or an ad campaign, I can thank my many lives for the versatility and creativity I can bring to each project.

I received my BFA with a concentration in painting and drawing from Montserrat College of Art in 2009. My latest educational endeavors at RISD|CE have released a new passion within me for advertising design and branding. I look forward to finding a position at a creative agency where I can bring my unique voice and add something fresh, shiny, and new. With my fine arts background, I like to treat every campaign like a piece of art. The composition of a layout, conceptual backbone of "the big idea", and strokes of copy and color bring together a beautiful advertisement. And, just as with art, GOOD art, this kind of advertising evokes feelings within its audience. I want to provoke, make you think, and feel something real.
